Virginia Boaters have 3 options to obtain their boater education card: online course, home study, or classroom.
We provide an online course approved by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries which is recognized nationally. The online course meets all the requirements to operate any recreational powerboat (including jet skis) and takes about 3-hours to complete. Click here to access the
Online Boating Course If you have a group of people (companies, first responders, MWR offices) who need to take the course, we can offer a discount. Call us for details.
If you prefer to study at home, we offer a great Home Study Kit. The kit includes a 64-page, full color, book, 60-minute DVD, the test and answer sheet (this is an "open book" exam). If you have additional family members who need to get their boater card, they can be added to the order at a substantial discount, make this a great value for families.
